It's certainly more expensive ;)
This is the Arc de Triomphe Premium Halter. Those odd leather pieces on the cheek cross underneath to apply pressure on the poll as well as the bridge of the nose. They also remove to convert the halter into a grooming halter. (I've always just unbuckled the halter and buckled it around the throatlatch if I need to reach the jaw or anywhere the halter is covering, so I personally thought "grooming halters" were a bit silly, although perfect for the horse and rider who have it all!)

I wonder if this works as well as a rope halter, without the "rope halter" look, as you can even install a nameplate on it on SmartPak. (Nobody ever said rope halters look incredibly snazzy, even Greta's pink one, but they certainly look pragmatic.) However, for $135, I won't be the one to try it out. I love Greta's Kensington SmartPink halter. Love. It.
Plus, it's cheaper to do groundwork in a $2 rope halter and then transfer that to a normal halter. A pretty proven method as well haha!
What do y'all think?
