So that's still almost another $100 saved!Dressagerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04849960430806754249noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3004597800120575437.post-50701975730679518452012-01-16T07:45:41.981-06:002012-01-16T07:45:41.981-06:00Awesome. Although I have different problems than you and Greta (my horse is super, super soft in the mouth, hates poll or noseband pressure at all, and tends to be a bit tense in his jaw/poll) I'm glad to hear someone else is having success with it. Maybe I'll finally bite the bullet when he goes back into work and buy one...Becky + Digbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09788041309826669742noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3004597800120575437.post-69818697929552730202012-01-15T21:49:09.152-06:002012-01-15T21:49:09.152-06:00They feel so short when I'm riding, and then I...They feel so short when I'm riding, and then I look at the video and I think "WOW! Those are still almost dressage length haha!" I'm going to have to up it to 'jockey length', or at least that's what jumping length feels to me haha.

Ah, okay! Same concept as dressage riding, keep my chest open and shoulders back! If you shorten your stirrups two holes or so, that will help you stay forward out of the saddle for an extra split second over the fence. As for rounding your back, just think about keeping your chest open and up, shoulders back, and you'll find the rounding problem goes away.

Can't wait to see the next round!jenjhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01737679332792618499noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3004597800120575437.post-22820092452338021312012-01-15T19:59:24.694-06:002012-01-15T19:59:24.694-06:00Thanks! So far I love it, and Greta - who, while not fussy, did headshake and liked to hang on the bit - has been headshaking-free and definitely coming through in the bridle and not tense. So far, so good!Dressagerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04849960430806754249noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3004597800120575437.post-75445840685558075632012-01-15T19:59:08.726-06:002012-01-15T19:59:08.726-06:00This comment has been removed by the author.Dressagerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04849960430806754249noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3004597800120575437.post-32164843738311960192012-01-15T11:57:34.223-06:002012-01-15T11:57:34.223-06:00Aw butters is so cute! And don't worry, jumping is hard to get used to but you're a good rider so you'll get the hang of it soon enough!

And I'm DYING to read the Micklem post. I'm seriously considering buying one of these for my horse when he goes back into work in May! He's a very fussy TB and I've heard excellent reviews.Becky + Digbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09788041309826669742noreply@blogger.com
